The Exile to Babylon

Today I got to play the part of a Babylonian soldier. The PBS film crew was at the village filming a production that covers the exile of the Jews from Judah. I was filmed in two scenes with Jews being relocated from Judah to Babylonia. See the details of that history at: http://www.wsu.edu/~dee/HEBREWS/EXILE.HTM

The production will be aired sometime in November on PBS and will likely also get picked up by National Geographic. The working title today is "The Hidden Secrets of the Bible Revealed".

My family has since changed my name to "The Babylonian Meanie".

But as you can see, between filming I make good friends with the "slave labor."

OOps, ignore the rolled-up denim shorts under Mr Soldier's tunic, but check out the Babylonian "bling" on his wrist. Not too shabby. ;)
